Danganronpa: Survivor's Guilt

Danganronpa: Survivor's Guilt is an in-progress Fangan (a Danganronpa fan game that follows the DR formula with original cast and story) made in RPG Maker MV by Aru & Raven. It is a sequel to Danganronpa: LIVe or Die , but is a standalone game and can be played without any knowledge of the prequel.
The game up to chapter 2 (of 6) is available for download.
Two years after the end of the Danganronpa TV show, and one year after the events of Danganronpa: LIVe or Die, a huge meetup event for survivors of the various seasons is held. However, someone releases sleeping gas and kidnaps 16 of the attendees to put them in a new killing game on a deserted island. What they don't initially realize is that all of them won their respective seasons by committing murder and getting away with it - so everyone in this game is already a killer!
Survivor's Guilt is a 'meta fangan' inspired by such stories as the Scream movie series. It discusses and lampshades many various tropes of the genre, sometimes averting them and sometimes playing them straight. It also follows the ending of the canon Danganronpa V3, focusing much more on the worldbuilding aspect of its setting. The protagonist, Rui, is the Ultimate Danganronpa Fan - but will that talent be enough to help him survive Danganronpa for the second time?
Each chapter contains a Daily Life section, which contains various scenes with all the characters and personal Free Time events, and a Deadly Life section which contains a murder investigation and a trial (with several minigames, such as Logic Drive, Letter Labirynth or the new Scrum Debate).
TRIGGER WARNINGS: Death, murder, suicide, mutilation, depression, PTSD, medicine overdose; mentions of self-harm, eating disorders and gender/body dysphoria; non-explicit description of a nonconsensual sexual act (the last one can be skipped)

I have only played through the first chapter but wow. The writing and character development has improved tenfold when compared to LIVe or Die. I'm truly astonished by the effort the team has put into the story! I'm getting a lot more invested in each character and the ideas that are being played with are endlessly fascinating and. well. disturbing. Completely subverted my expectations for the chapter 1 trial, and I truly can't wait to see more.
I also *really* hope that DR 52 somehow comes up in discussion in this game, would be really interesting to see someone else's take on what happened to Rantaro and Tsumugi, especially with the added context and world building that Survivor's Guilt has provided.

I am here to give my thoughts on Chapter 2 but it will include spoilers for those who haven't played Chapter 2 yet: I knew i wouldn't enjoy the chapters after Chapter 1 as much as Chapter 1... I war right... Just like i thought i loved it way more, this Chapter really effected me emotionally and a few tears were shed as Rika saw the hallucination of Mako, her body discovery, the writing after the execution, and especially the flashback with Rika and Mako, i also loved Hayato going crazy he might have become my favorite Danganronpa antagonist now, i loved him enough in Chapter 1 but this might have put the, i'm changing my rating from 10/10 to 11/10 i love this and even tho i don't want Danganronpa and it's fandom to die out, i wouldn't mind if this was the last playable Fanganronpa to exist

victim 1's body discovery video keeps stoping mid video
Hmm, no one else reported such a problem yet.
Some possible solutions that I could suggest.
1. Redownload the game, and replace the files (with the exception of your saves)
2. Try playing through this part on another computer
3. Alternatively, you could try replace the discovery video with a dummy file so you can proceed. Copy another video, change the name to body-d1.webm and put it in the videos folder. Although you must be careful not to see who's in the execution video that's also in this folder. You would probably have to make sure that the folder view is set to a list, with not thumbnails.
As a big fan of Danganronpa and someone who enjoyed the first game a lot this first chapter is fantastic, i personally can't wait for the next chapter, and it's well written too, i am the kind of person who thinks that writing is the most important in projects like these, ah the mystery was perfect, the culprit's last words was perfect, and the execution was cleverly made, i will rate this as a 10/10 Fanganronpa as it's perfect atleast in my opinion, thank you for the experience and good luck for the future
